Rusty Bike’s Box
This project highlights the condition of a bike’s box affected by rust. The focus is on showing how rust has developed on different parts of the box, giving a clear view of its worn-out and damaged state.
Step 1: Rust Problem
The bike’s box had developed visible rust, making it look old and worn out.
Step 2: Apply WD-40
Spray WD-40 generously on the rusty areas, allowing it to penetrate and loosen the rust.
Step 3: Let It Sit
Allow WD-40 to sit for a few minutes so it can break down the rust effectively.
Step 4: Scrub the Rust
Use a wire brush or scouring pad to scrub off the loosened rust from the box surface.
Step 5: Wipe Clean
Use a clean cloth to wipe away the rust residue and WD-40, leaving the metal surface
Step 6: Check for Remaining Rust
Inspect the bike’s box for any remaining rust spots and repeat spraying and scrubbing if necessary.
Step 7: Protect the Surface
Apply a light layer of WD-40 to protect the metal from future rusting and give it a clean, shiny finish.
